The 2020's California Mortgage Expo saw a huge turnout for its first stop with the San Diego edition of the event, which kicked off on Feb. 5 at the Crowne Plaza, with an informative Build-A-Broker program. This session is designed to help new incoming brokers build their brokerage from the ground up.
The main event kicked off on Feb. 6 with a number of educational sessions geared towards helping you, the originator and broker, create better business strategies, diversify your business and increase your business. Featured speakers included: Erica LaCentra of RCN Capital; Ralph Rosynek, SVP of Moneyhouse; Paul Yatooma, VP of Sales for Quicken Loans; Eric Morgenson of Angel Oak; and, Stephen Grupp of Visio Lending.
On the following day, pre-registered attendees were able to complete the 8-hour NMLS renewal course taught by Tyna Minet-Anderson of Mortgage Educators and Compliance.
