The 2020 Texas Mortgage Roundup: San Antonio edition was the second stop in the Originator Connect Network Tour's most recent trip across the country following a hugely successful California Mortgage Expo in San Diego. San Antonio's event picked up just where California left off with a spectacular turnout across the two-day event, as it kicked off on February 11, at the Marriott Plaza.
The program was filled with numerous networking opportunities, as well as a number of educational sessions geared towards getting originators and brokers to the top of their game. Featured speakers included Caroline C. Jones, Commissioner of The Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending; Stephen Ballard of RCN Capital; John Jeanmonod of Angel Oak; Paul Yatooma, VP of Sales for Quicken Loans; and, Ralph Rosynek, SVP of Moneyhouse.
Attendees who pre-registered for the event were also given the option to take the free NMLS renewal class, which was taught by David Luna, president of Mortgage Educators and Compliance.
