OCN Launches “NMLS Fest” with MaxClass

At the Originator Connect Network, we’re always looking for ways to bring more value to our community—and we’re excited to announce something brand new for 2025: NMLS Fest, a joint venture with our continuing education partner, MaxClass.

This new series of events merges a full-day live NMLS license renewal class with a built-in opportunity for attendees to connect with vendors, explore new products, and build relationships—all in one single day.

We’re launching six NMLS Fests this fall in key cities across the country: Phoenix, AZ; Newport, RI; St. Louis, MO; Irvine, CA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Dallas, TX. These events are designed for mortgage pros who want more from their CE experience—more networking, more business opportunities, and more engagement.

“Where most CE providers are shifting to online-only, we know in-person education still matters,” said LaDonna Lockard, CEO of MaxClass. “These events give students a chance to learn in a supportive, live environment—and also to grow their business while they’re there.”

We agree. At OCN, we’ve hosted 25+ shows a year across the U.S., and continuing education has always been a key feature. But with NMLS Fest, we’re making it more efficient and more impactful. Traditionally, our shows offer a general session and exhibit hall on day one, followed by an all-day CE class on day two. That format requires two days off from origination work.

NMLS Fest streamlines everything into one packed, productive day. You’ll earn your required CE credits and spend valuable time networking with top vendors and lenders—without sacrificing a second day.
