Originator Connect 2025: LOs in Wonderland

This year’s Originator Connect in Las Vegas was, without question, a weekend straight out of Wonderland. From high-energy pre-conference programs to thought-provoking sessions, powerhouse keynotes, and a few unforgettable surprises, the nation’s largest gathering of mortgage originators once again proved why it’s the industry’s must-attend event.

A Weekend of Learning, Tech & Strategy

We kicked things off Thursday with Build-A-Broker, giving future brokerage leaders the fundamentals of setting up shop — from LO comp and payroll to choosing the right tech stack. In the afternoon, OriginatorTech pulled back the curtain on the technology transforming origination, from AI-driven efficiency to the broker tools that keep borrowers at the center of the experience.

Friday brought the return of the Non-QM Summit, packed with insight into the growing non-qualified mortgage market. From there, sessions ran the gamut: scaling a brokerage for acquisition, building referral engines, Realtor partnerships, lead automation, creative lending solutions, and strategies for resilience in any market cycle.

Of course, the day’s highlight was the industry’s spiciest showdown: Hot Loans: Las Vegas Edition. Four mega-brokers braved fiery sauces while fielding equally hot questions, turning the Rocket Pro Main Stage into a mix of grit, laughs, and a few tears (of the spicy variety).

Stepping Into Wonderland

Networking in Las Vegas never disappoints, and our LOs in Wonderland Opening Party delivered a night to remember. Attendees followed the white rabbit into a surreal world of cocktails, conversation, and celebration — a fitting kickoff for the days ahead.

Saturday’s agenda featured back-to-back powerhouse sessions, from Sun West’s groundbreaking AI in underwriting demo to candid conversations on the future of wholesale with Rocket Pro leaders. Attendees packed the Exhibit Hall, making connections, exploring new solutions, and celebrating with our Cocktails & Connections reception.

Finishing Strong

On Sunday, we closed with our complimentary, 8-hour NMLS Renewal Course, giving hundreds of attendees a chance to knock out their CE while still soaking up every bit of the conference energy.

By the Numbers

This year’s Originator Connect set a new record with 2,100 registrations — more than 20% growth from last year, despite industry-wide declines in LO numbers. It’s proof of what we’ve always said: no one delivers an audience of originators like the Originator Connect Network. Whether national, regional, or local, our events continue to connect, educate, and inspire the professionals driving this industry forward.
